Coaching Style, Philosophy, or Specialty:
I work as a career coach to individuals who are struggling with competing values to help them resolve conflicts and decide what is most important. I then help them understand how those value decisions can impact their career choices.
I also work with people who feel that their life plan has gotten off track, and needs some help re-centering to get back on a course that feels right for them.
Types of Clients or Situations:
I like to coach people through career transitions, with a specific focus on their values. Values are at the core of who we are and who we want to be. When we are clear on our values, it gives us the best opportunity to make a plan that is authentically where we want to go.
I’ve worked with many Executive Directors from the non-profit sector on an individual basis. Coaching often gives them the ability to work through issues they deal with as a top executive that aren’t necessarily relevant to bring to the Board.
I’ve also worked with many small business owners, in a similar fashion to how I work with Executive Directors. I help them to set their personal goals and values, and then integrate them into the business. I also act as a trusted advisor so that a person does not have to carry the burden of personnel and other decisions alone.
